Fan condition
Operation, obvious damage, mounting condition, noise, vibration and signs of mechanical deterioration.
Preventative checks for fans, motors, belts, bearings, starters, VFDs and relevant controls, with clear findings and practical rectification recommendations.
The exact scope is agreed for the equipment on site. Typical inspections focus on early warning signs, operation and components that commonly cause breakdowns.
Operation, obvious damage, mounting condition, noise, vibration and signs of mechanical deterioration.
Belt wear, tension, alignment, pulley condition and recurring issues that can shorten belt life.
Operating condition, abnormal noise, heat, bearing deterioration and visible motor issues.
Local isolators, starters, contactors, overloads and relevant electrical connections within the agreed scope.
Displayed faults, operating commands, speed settings and relevant interlocks with connected equipment.
Recorded defects, condition observations and recommended repair, replacement or further testing.
There is no honest one-size-fits-all interval. Operating hours, grease exposure, equipment condition and the cost of downtime all matter.
May suit equipment in sound condition with moderate use and no recurring faults.
Provides more frequent condition checks where equipment operates for long hours or downtime is costly.
May suit demanding kitchens, known deterioration or sites needing closer maintenance oversight.
We establish the fans, motors and controls included in the maintenance scope.
Agreed mechanical and electrical checks are completed around site access and trading requirements.
Defects and condition observations are separated into practical priorities.
Repair or replacement work is quoted separately where further action is recommended.
Planned inspections are useful wherever a ventilation breakdown creates operational disruption, safety concerns or expensive emergency work.

Annual inspection may suit many venues. High-use kitchens or equipment with demanding conditions may benefit from six-monthly or quarterly inspection. We recommend an interval based on usage, condition and operational risk.
No. We provide mechanical and electrical maintenance, inspection and repairs. Grease cleaning of canopies, filters and ductwork should be completed by a specialist commercial exhaust cleaning contractor.
The scope may include exhaust fans, motors, belts, pulleys, bearings, starters, VFDs, isolators and relevant ventilation controls. The equipment list is confirmed before attendance.
Findings and recommended actions can be recorded for the agreed inspection scope. Any required repairs or replacements are quoted separately.
Where scheduling and access allow, work can be planned around kitchen operations. Applicable after-hours rates are confirmed in advance.
No single maintenance visit automatically certifies an entire ventilation system. We report on the agreed equipment and inspection scope and identify where further testing or rectification is recommended.
